If you read my first post you now know that I am a certified health and wellness coach through the Health Coach Institute. This has been an incredible journey, breaking me out of my comfort zone, meeting new friends all over the world, and learning a lot about myself in the process of helping others change their lives.
My goal as a health coach is to help people be as healthy as possible. Understanding how food plays a role not only in satisfying an empty belly or an emotional comfort, but how it can promote or damage your body at microscopic level became fascinating. Now I am not a biologist so I won’t bore you with discussions on mitochondria or neurotransmitters, but experimenting and researching different eating styles opened my eyes to many issues around food and systemic health. I began seeking more information around food sensitivity, gut health, inflammation, and autoimmune diseases, which is at the forefront of my motivation to becoming a health coach.
What is a health coach?
I am part cheerleader, part tough love coach. I am a master of habit change. I am the difference between falling of the wagon again and finally getting the results you want. I help you to find what is right for your unique body type. I help you build healthy habits that last not some quick fix diet. I help slow you down to the speed of life. I will stretch you to achieve goals you never dreamed were possible. I will make it easy to follow through with what you already know you should be doing. I will provide the right system, support, and accountability to revitalize your wellness.
What do I do as a health coach?
I utilize a holistic approach to health and wellness through proper nutrition, not only what to eat but how to eat. In addition, focusing on stress, relaxation, gratitude, and personal power; all the things that can get bypassed when trying to make a real change in your health and life. I help people transform their mind and body, so they can increase energy, gain confidence, and have the physique they desire. I want to help you look and feel amazing inside and out.
What do I offer?
P.R.E.P. Discovery Session: First things first let’s get clear picture of your goals. We will uncover what you want and what’s been stopping you or slowing you down from having the health, body, energy and/or life you want, and develop a VISION and PLAN for transformation. Making sure we are a good fit as coach and client is of utmost importance therefore all Discovery sessions are complimentary.
90 Day Revitalize Your Wellness Transformation: This program focuses on the holistic approach to health and wellness in weekly sessions. We cover everything from nutrition to meditation. Together we work through challenges, getting unstuck, and celebrating what’s going well to propel you to the next level on your journey.
14 Day or 21 Day P.R.E.P. Reset: This two/three week program is a great place to jump start your wellness journey or refocus if your are noticing any of the following: bloating, plateau in weight loss, weight gain, headaches, lack of energy, anxiety, allergies, cravings, foggy brain, muscle aches, etc. We focus on eliminating common food allergens or toxins and incorporating cleanse enhancing activities to reset and revitalize your body.
28 Day Meal P.R.E.P.: This one month course is perfect for the client who knows what to eat but may be struggling to make it a priority or a client who is confused on what to eat and needs guidance on finding what works for their unique body. The principles of P.R.E.P. will be the focus: Plan, Refine, Eat, Prosper. We will cover weekly meal planning, recipes, shopping lists, food labels, eating for energy, and a bit on how the foods we eat affect our body.
